    The MEAC begins conference play this weekend and outside of the usual suspects, there might be a surprise contender for the conference title. Chris talks about which team that could be as well as what the contenders need to do to secure their sports.

    The SWAC East race could official end this weekend, so Chris focuses on the SWAC West, which has a surprise team at the top at the moment, but that could change.

    Chris also talks about Tennessee State's struggles, Hampton's rude CAA welcome and A&T getting better as the season goes on.

    In Division II, the SIAC has two great division races, but Chris explains why that could be coming to an end soon.

    Chris leads off with a preview of the MEAC's games this week and some quick insight on Virginia University of Lynchburg, who is much improved this season. Chris also discusses why A&T is desperate for a win heading into Big South play and how South Carolina State won't be so quick to let them have it.

    Chris previews the SWAC schedule for the week along with some thoughts on Deion Sanders and how Jackson State could benefit from the focus just being on the field and not what "Coach Prime" says in press conferences.

    Chris gives love to the SIAC, which has no shortage of contenders for its conference crown, most notably Benedict, Lane, Miles, Fort Valley State and of course Albany State.

    The CIAA looks to be interesting this week and Chris talks about Bowie State getting back on track after losing to Shaw and asking the question on everybody's mind - what is happening to Winston-Salem State? Less

    Chris begins the show with a very special announcement that you all might enjoy, then discusses the MEAC schedule which is highlighted by Howard battling Morehouse in the first ever HBCU/NY Football Classic at MetLife Stadium on Saturday. Can Howard get a win? Will Norfolk State beat Hampton in the Battle of the Bay? Just how bad will DSU take out their frustrations on Virginia-Lynchburg?

    Down in the SWAC, the game of the week is Jackson State vs. Grambling State, Deion Sanders vs. Hue Jackson in what could be a SWAC title game preview. Chris has that action as well as Southern vs. Texas Southern at AT&T stadium.

    The SIAC should be on notice after Benedict handled handled Savannah State Thursday night. Chris talks about that game and what it could mean for the Tigers moving forward.

    Lastly, Virginia Union had the biggest upset in Division II last week and somehow did not make the national rankings. Chris discusses the Panthers' big win and the rest of the CIAA schedule, which is all inter-conference this week. Less
